Hey, I would like to reboot my blog so it has something more than only private things. How if talking about Magic: The Gathering??
If you don't know what Magic: The Gathering (or MTG) is, probably you are not:
1. A geek
2. A nerd
Okay, back to the topic. Magic: The Gathering is the first Trading Card Game (TCG) which means it's a card game. It's not like Poker, but it's more like Yu-Gi-Oh! The main point of MTG is usually beating your opponent's life point from 20 to 0 by using 60 cards on deck. I say "usually" because there are some unique ways that I'll explain about them on another article.
Unlike Yu-Gi-Oh!, each element (or color) in MTG have their own philosophy and strategy, such as:
-White: The color of protection and militia. Usually it's defensive by gaining life or using mass removal like Wrath of God, but it can go offensive by using strategy known as White Weenie.
-Blue: Both of active and passive color, by active means blue can casting spells on opponent's turn to handle things, and by passive means it waits its opponent cast a spell, then Counter it.
-Black: Black can do anything that other colors do, at a price, mostly by paying life, or sacrificing creatures. But of course black has its own strategy, like destroying creatures, discard, or even bring the dead creatures back!
-Red: RIGHT HERE AND NOW!!! If you don't like to thinking about long-term plans, then red is good for you. It has direct damage cards (called burn) to creature, player, or even both. And red creatures are faster than any color, which means faster to come, and faster to die :P
-Green: Welcome to the jungle! Think about trees and beasts. Trees means green provides mana (the currency on MTG) when beasts, yeah, are beasts with colossal size.
Seriously, you'll regret if you not playing this very awesome game. I'll explain more about MTG on this blog, so stay tune! :D
